NOTE ON THE TITLE:
Ponniyin Pudalvar, (the son of Ponni), is a reminder that Kalki was born in the region nurtured by the river Ponni, another name for the Kaveri, where the Imperial Chola monarch Rajaraja I was known as Ponniyin Selvan (Ponni’s beloved son), the name of Kalki’s spectacular cult novel.

Projects of this nature do not capture the interest of large publishers as the number of copies are too small to be of interest. This leaves us with a proverbial cat and a stick. We don’t have a good estimate of how many copies will sell and we cannot get the book into bookstores. So we are seeking support in the for of donation and we would like to get as many pre orders as possible so we can print enough copies without the worry of having too many unsold.
We are looking for a small number of donations to help us with this project. We will gratefully accept donations in any amount, A donation of ₹ 5000, ₹ 7500 or ₹ 10000 , or $ 100, $ 250 or $ 500 dollars will help us with printing and publishing costs. You will receive an autographed copy of the book and an invitation to a select virtual book release event.

When you order the book and we will make sure it is sent to you directly soon after it is available. You can opt to pick it up in person in Chennai or have it posted or couriered to you within India and/or to international destinations. We will email you for pick up or to notify you when it is sent to you.
